This is one of my favorite photos from the shoot. The cider mill wasn't running that day, but three lonely apples were left to await their fate on the conveyor mechanism. I like how the apples in the foreground are in sharp focus, while the apples in the background progressively become unfocused. I shot this one at 70mm with the aperture nearly wide open at f4.5, which created the narrow depth of field that makes this shot so interesting. I held my breath to get a steady exposure at 1/10 sec.
