This is my favorite of the macro shots. The apple is nice and sharp, as is the leaf directly underneath. The highlight and shadow detail look just right to my eye. I have heard some people criticize the macro feature on Minolta 28-85mm lens because (strangely enough) the macro option is only available at the 28mm setting. Some photographers have even called it useless. It's not the typical telephoto macro, but wide-angle-of-view macro shots like this one (the lens was only an inch or so away from the apple) make for some interesting images IMHO.
