The flash unit failed to fire in this image, leaving it severely under exposed. I was going to delete it, but decided to see what would happen if I tried to manipulate the original RAW file into a usable image. I think the line of box cars and the '50s era cars in front of the store make the photo look fairly realistic, especially with the working street lights. There was too much noise in the color image, but converting it to grayscale gave it life. The noise looks like old flm grain. You can imagine that was shot fifty years ago. The freight train looks like someone photographed a steam loco with an old Kodak Brownie. At least it does to me.
