This probably my favorite image of the group. I used the Live View function, aimed the wide-open Minolta 50mm lens down the track and shot just before the locomotive appeared in focus.
The shallow depth of field causes everything in the background to become unidentifiable, and the fake snow on either side of the locomotive could be steam. The roof of the very detailed station wagon on the right adds a feeling of realism.
The train was moving fairly quickly, but I was able to capture the locomotive just as it came into focus. The headlamp, detailed logo and the scale hand rails add tremendously to the image, IMHO.
