Bought my Sony A330 Sony Camera from Jessops, who at the time advertised as an optional extra a vertical battery grip for this camera, but after much emails and talking with Sony, it was soon apparent that there was no such thing has a vertical battery grip for the Sony A330, I informed Jessops and they purely agreed with me and took the optional extra off their web site, but this didnt help me

I use an A700, and you CANNOT use both the Memory Stick and CF slots at once.

You can have a card in both, but must manually pick which slot you want to be currently active. It doesn't automatically toggle once one card fills up, or anything like that.

I think the reason there was a demand for a vertical grip for the a100 was that it was the only Sony DSLR available at the time. I agree with Sony in that there will probably be very little demand for a vertical grip for these camera models. People that will want the vertical grip would likely purchase the a700 or a900 instead.

I was under the impression that the memory card slots in the a700 could only be used one at a time. You have to navigate to the appropriate menu, and select which card slot is active. If both can be active at once, I'd like to know how it can be done!

Any suggestions that this new UI might be made available to the older models i.e. A200 via a software update of some kind?
