I think they may release the A800 at a whopping $1,700....if it a full frame? mean the mean while they will release a better model replacement for the A900 &amp; pushing it at a higher price tag. That&#039;s technology today &amp; tomorrow :))</description>

		<description>I too would like to believe this is true, but have a hard time seeing the logic in it... at least for the next year or so.  The biggest problem I see with an A700 replacement is the pricing of the A380.  With just a single kit lens, that camera is already almost $900.  I can&#039;t see Sony releasing another camera at nearly the same price with a huge jump in features.

I mean, to look at these specs... it is hard to believe this camera could be built at any price, much less for under $2k.  GPS and wifi?  8 frames per second?  Full frame 16mp sensor with HD video?  Basically, it is like someone just made a checklist of what they would like to see in their dream camera.

I would also be curious to see where the rumored A500 and A550 fit into this as well.  Maybe these are yet another iteration of the 300 series with video?</description>
