Thanks for the basics. It is great to have info like this available. I am looking forward to the day more SLR’s support DNG as their native file format and hopefully I will be able to read about it on your blog soon

You may want to look in on http://www.dyxum.com/lenses/index.asp – in case you do not know of its’ existence – good run down on Alpha Mount lens. Also http://www.alphalensrental.com as a rental source for lens to “try before you buy.” Best to my fellow Alphashooters!
