Hi Stan, I haven’t yet had a chance to play with one of the cameras with the multi-interface hot shoe. That being said, I don’t see why the NPT-04 system would not work. The MI hot-shoe syncs with most older flash units (manual, tot TTL), so it should be able to fire the NPT-04 trigger. I plan to experiment with the NPT-04 on a NEX 5N using a third party hot-shoe adapter in the near future. I’ll see if I can’t locate a MI camera for testing as well.

Nice review there. I am trying to experiment using third party off camera flashes and triggers on my nex6, but am not sure if it works. Would you be able to test the npt-4 on a nex-6 or alpha camera? Tks , I’ll appreciate that.

They are available in the Minolta/Sony shoe and are even better built than the Cowboy Studio. They have better range as well.
