I am very curious to see the pricing on that 50mm 1.8

The Sony 50mm 1.4 was probably my next lens purchase, but the price is a little daunting. If the 1.8 comes in around $100 or so, I will pick it up for sure.

People think APS is dead. I don't think so, probably full frame cameras will be targeted to PRO user, but DX format (I'm a Nikon user) will stay for a long time. Sony is releasing DT lenses, Nikon has just released a prime DX lens. Everything makes me think (and hope) APS-C format will stay here for a while.
