How does the A200 compare to the DSLR-A300? Both are comparably priced at $699 with two lenses on SonyStyle.com as of 9/20/2008.

At first, I thought I would either shop aggressively for a drastically reduced A100, but at the above prices, I will pass on that idea and go for the newer model.

I am also open to suggestions on a comparable Canon or Nikon.

I would greatly appreciate any insight or advice you may provide â€“ thanks!

I would like to know when this article was written. I have found on a Sony website for Europe that a A200 with lense is cheaper than an A100 body. With the A350 only being $30 dollars more than an A100.

Is there something about the A100 I am missing?

does the a200 have quick navi? becasue if it does, then i think it’d still hold the advantage in the knob catergory. also, I think that may happen (all the a100s being sold when teh flagship comes out) but i have to wonder why all these people are jumping from an amature dSLR to a pro model like that… you’d think they’d have gone to the 700 first or something
