Another view of the waterfall from a different angle. I think the foliage on the left side of the image and the upward tilt of the lens add interest to the photo.
Don't be fooled by the tag indicating I used a f/1.0 aperture in the text above the photo. I do not own a f/1 lens... but I sure wish that I did! I was using the Minolta Rokkor 16mm f2.8 lens with a MA-MC lens adapter for this image. The Sony A350 couldn't determine the actual f/stop, because there is no communication between the lens and the camera.
Any lens used with an adapter will show up in the ETPC data as f/1.0. The camera defaults to that figure when it cannot recognize the lens. The shutter-speed is set in the camera, so that is recorded accurately. But the camera cannot talk to the lens through an adapter so it has no way to know what aperture was actually used.
