That is a cool story. I certainly wouldn’t want to be taking photos from the back of a motorcycle without some form of tether! Glad to know others agree with me about wrist straps.

I have been working with cameras for 50 yrs and found a wrist strap the best alternative to a neck strap. My favourite is one I made from real parachute cord that was tied in a ‘boat knot ‘ that will undo with a pull and can be used as a 5 ft rope. We rode our motorcycle from BC to Ontario with the wife on the back happily taking pics and her RX100v on a wrist strap. I believe it is about a feeling of ‘control’.
