This image is somewhat the opposite of the previous image of the woman in the garden. Instead of a dark area behind the woman, the area behind her hat has turned nearly white. Again, the Minolta 70-210, wide open and this time zoomed to 135mm, still creates enough depth of field to isolate the subject from the background.
There was no harsh sun to worry about in this image, because the woman was seated on the covered porch of the backcountry farm.
I really like the look on her face as she concentrates on the craft she is creating.
